Location info
Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with cooking facilities and a private bathroom. However, the room security is a concern as it was broken into. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient for exploring Cairns and its attractions. The dining options are limited, but the facilities are well-maintained.
The hotel falls short in some aspects despite promising features. The rooms, although equipped with cooking facilities, are below the expected standard for a 4-star rating. On the bright side, they were very clean. The service, particularly the reception staff, seemed attentive but lacked the finesse expected. The location, while offering proximity to Cairns and the airport, raised safety concerns due to the area's history of crime. Dining options were unremarkable, and the facilities lacked a sense of luxury and modernity.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with helpful service in a good location close to Cairns. The dining options are limited, and the facilities are satisfactory for a pleasant stay.
Upon arriving at our room, we found it below standard and definitely not meeting the 4-star expectation. However, the cleanliness of the room was very good. The staff are easy-going and not constantly in your face, making for a relaxed atmosphere. The location is about 5km from both the airport and Cairns, close to shops and the city but not too busy. Unfortunately, there is a history of many crimes which can make guests feel a bit worried. The dining experience lacked information on canapes. The facilities were good, with the staff raking up the falling leaves and flowers, and the rates being reasonable.
The hotel room was a bit below standard for a supposed 4-star rating, but it was an upgrade. The room had cooking facilities and its own bathroom with a comfy bed.
